Members were eager to learn as BNCWI's resident research expert and historical fiction author, Alyssa Palombo, led a lively and informative meeting.  Alyssa generously shared her tips and happily answered questions about "out of the box" research techniques.  It was clear by the end of the meeting that the group was enthusiastic about putting some fun, fact-finding methods into practice!

Non-fiction, historical fiction, and realistic fiction are hot hot hot!  And, so are the tips that the amazing historical fiction author (and BNCWI's own), Alyssa Palombo, is going to share at our next meeting.  Alyssa will be presenting alternate methods of research rather than just reading, as well as how to weave research into your writing.  She will also provide some exercises to get the group thinking about their research.
