Jason never really grew up. Nor does he have plans to. That's part of why he loves to write: the thrill of the make-believe, where anything and everything is possible so long as you can imagine it. Jason wrote a lot as a child, particularly in his teen years, when his father gave him a notebook and told him to document his adventures. Since then, Jason has self-published two travel memoirs, written for CBS News and the Denver Post, as well as several travel-related websites - including his own. While he still maintains his travel blog, Jason now focuses much of his writing efforts on science fiction and fantasy stories for young adults. In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and their fur babies, traveling, hiking and camping, and is an avid Minnesota hockey fan.
